This January, 44 Wheaton College students are spending a week up at Honey Rock snow shoeing, horseback riding, playing broomball and taking classes. Three classes are being offered during this year’s Winter WIN (Wheaton in the Northwoods): Christian Education (CE) Senior Seminar, Discipleship, and Bible/Theology (BITH) Senior Seminar.

Every morning each class meets from 8:30-12:15 for discussions in smaller, more interactive class settings. After lunch the students are free to enjoy the winter activities of Honey Rock such as winter canoeing, broomball, cross-country skiing, wallyball and much more. Everyone meets back in Chrouser for dinner followed by a time of worship which is led by different groups each night. The evening usually consists of a movie, games and a BITH vs. CE broomball game. WIN provides a relaxed atmosphere where students can learn both academically and experientially while forming closer friendships with professors and other students.
